Silly Quesiton- Pads for Hospital

I don't wear pads so I'm not sure what type to pack for the hospital. Any suggestions?

Thick and absorbent!
The hospital usually supplies them for you, which I'm glad cuz, I didn't bring any when I had my son, its funny, I didn't even think of it!

I heard the best bet is the hospital pads - this they are heavy duty and you cant find ones like those usually in your local drug store,
but I guess you can pack some just in case in your hospital bag...

I brought my own because even though the hospital provides them they are horrible. They are the old kind that you wear with a belt so they have no adhesive. I would recommend buying the Super size pads with the wings because you'll definitely need it.

Get the overnight ones with/out wings.

The hospital ones are good for the first 2 days after delivery when you bleed heavily.

I wore the hospital ones for like the first week (take them home with you). The first few days I wore two! They are fine in the hospital - adhesive, no belts...at least at my hospital - just very thick and bulky which is what I needed. After that I had two packages of always with wings and one without - one in each of the two highest levels they had. Also, have pantylineres for the end on hand - when it gets lighter. I wore those for a couple weeks.

I wore the hospital ones while I was in the hospital for 4 days, but as soon as I got home, I switched to a maxi that was much better. I hardly bled at all, but then again, I had a c/s.

Re: Silly Quesiton- Pads for Hospital

The nurse stuck 2 together to make it extremely long and they gave me mesh underware to wear as well. I also put a pad across my c-section incision. I wore the pads for about a day and then I used my Always~Overnight with wings for the remainder of the time.
