Nick and Jessica statment!
STILL WED: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey issuing a joint statement through a rep, denying reports from Us Weekly and Life & Style that the couple has ended their union. "Nick and Jessica have not separated," the rep said. "Rumors to the contrary are simply not true."
Why are people trying to ruin them? I honestly dont get it. And if they were separated divorced whatever why wouldnt they just come out and say it after the second time the rumor was started.  If it was true and they kept denying it it would look even worse

I am so happy they are not true!!! When will people give up and leave them alone??? As if its not hard enough to be young, famous and married?

I don't know what to believe... I just wonder why this has all come to a head NOW? There's always rumors about those 2 breaking up, but how come its so huge this time? What makes this time any different?
I just don't get it. People should leave 'em alone!

its been big before. But maybe this time it has something to do with Tori spelling, Jamie Lynn discala, Renee Zelweger and who else...

hmmmmm. If they are printing false information though there'd be a libel lawsuit down the pike. Maybe they are just not ready to announce it. A statement means nothing when it all comes down to it.
Not that I have an opinion about it either way, but US is a realatively big rag. I can't imagine that they would intentionally position themselves for a lawsuit.

I dunno... I haven't spoken to her about this, but I have a friend who works at US Weekly and lets just say that Joe Simpson is their MAJOR source of information on the Simpson girls. I don't think they would print that without checking it. Almost of all of their stories come directly from teh celebrities managers/ publicists, etc.... I think they wanted to announce it, but for some reason backed off in teh end- maybe contract issues..
