Teachers - how are you handling the week off??

I hate to admit it, but I am bored already Chat Icon Chat Icon . Today I already hit the post office, bank and went food shopping. Laundry is going and I'm just watching some TV. I think I need to make some plans for the rest of the week, because I am getting cabin-fever already!!

I will be doing an early "spring" cleaning of my house (FUN!), but I have a LOT of planning to do for my classes... so that will take up the bulk of the vacation. I am HOPING to do *something* fun, but it's so cold!!!

It is so nice to be off, but so far I have been sick with sinus/ear infection...worked on my files, got my oil changed, ran errands, booked my friends bridal shower...
Not exactly partying it up over here! Oh and I am ending the week with oral surgery! Let the good times roll!

I'm enjoying my time off at night, it's nice to come home and not have to rush to eat then leave to teach.

We didn't make any plans but I'm thrilled to just go home and relax. I guess it's different if you are off during the day! Chat Icon

I love time off. And to be honest, I need to be off for a long while before the broedom sets in. I guess I'm a lazy person, but I'm very content lying around watching tv. Chat Icon

Re: Teachers - how are you handling the week off??

I did a TON of errands, started to crochet a runner for the piano, painted 2 of the new doors DH is hanging, did my progress reports, scheduled my CSEs for annual reviews, and made a Dr. appt. Tomorrow I'm going to calk the crown moulding in the guest bedroom and send some emails to friends. I hope to get together with some people by the end of the week b/c that's when I'll be going crazy!
