To the Ladies that use their cell phones in the bathroom at work...

I have a few questions. Perhaps you can help me understand the reasoning behind this.

1. Why do you use your cell phone in the bathroom? Is it for privacy?
Did you ever consider a conference room, or maybe taking a walk outside?

2. Do you think if you stand in the stall and talk on the phone that it will be more private?
I can still HEAR you!

3. Why do you send text messages while you are sitting on the toilet? Is it that important??
Just curious...do you clean off your cell phone after you exit your stall? I can only imagine where you hands have been!

The post is not meant to offend the bathroom cell-phone users, but merely meant to enlighten me.

I think its weird when people are on the cell phone in any public bathroom....I don't know what is so important...I won't even answer it when I am out of the stall...does someone need to hear flushing and other things?

Even pregnant where I live in the bathroom, I never talk on the phone there so I am no help. I don't even like talking to my DH behind the door

I am definitly not a bathroom cell phone user!
But I did read an article recently that stated your cell phone is dirtier than a public toilet due to the bacteria that grows in the speaker part due to moisture from your mouth, heat, and general usage with dirty hands as well as phones falling to the ground and being placed on tables and counter tops ect....-----your cell phone can be responsible for ear infections, sore throats ect....

I wouldnt want anyone I am talking to, to hear "bathroom sounds", my sounds or anyone else's. That is the main reason I never use my phone in the bathroom.

I actually did speak of the phone once while in the bathroom stall! I was about to leave for the day and on my way out went into the stall, with my bag, for a tinkle before getting on the suway. DH was alone with Benjamin, who was very little at the time, so Dh would call me a lot and I would alway smake sure to be available. So, as I am about to go, my cell phone rings. What was I to do? It was DH needing to askme somethign baby relatted, so I ended up talking to him for about a minute. I never felt more stupid in my life!

So, I can;t imgien why enyone would deliberately go into a bathroom stall to have a conversation on their cell phone. I never saw anyone do it in our company!
