Kitchen Ideas!

Hi all!

This is my first posting. I've been following for some time and the hubby and I are finally in contract for our first house!

Of course it needs tons of work...one of the biggest and most immediate jobs being the kitchen. It has an ancient rug and an old stove flush against the wall! Yuck! Total remodel is in order.

Does anyone have any kitchen remodel pictures you can post?...that would be great! You all give me hope that we will be able to do all the renovations we need to do! Any kitchen pictures will give me ideas.

I promise when the time comes I'll post "before" and "after" photos of our project.
Our kitchen isn't huge, but I'm starting to research design ideas!

Can you poost pictures of what you are working with now? This will certainly help me to see what type of kitchen you have. Many people here have redone their kitchens.
Also, if you do a search for kitchens, there are a bunch of posts with pictures to get you started.

We have redone two kitchens. We actually enjoy it and it is alot easier than you may think. For both, I looked through TONS of magazines and websites: like HGTV.com and BHG.com. I find an inspiration and I go with that. It usually doesn't come out like the picture, but thats not the point. I just need a starting off point.


There is a great site ( http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums ) that have tons of people's before and after sites.

Sorry I haven't responded...lifamilies had a problem with my password...but I'm back!

I don't have too many pics to post...yet.

I didn't know that I could search to find just the posts about a particular topic. Thanks for the tip! And thanks for the good wishes.

Once I have photos I will post them.

I'm going to go search for kitchens right now!
