do you get fustrated when they dont take their naps?
Bryan takes usually 2 naps per day but sometimes he misses one and it fustrates me because he sleeps better at night when he takes 2 naps- I try not to let it ruin my day but its hard...

Why is he missing his nap? I always put my kids down for naps, whether they want to or not. Otherwise, they are very cranky and unhappy.

OMG...I feel your pain! Bella needs a morning nap before I take her to daycare and if things are out the door with that nap, all hell breaks loose...sometimes I will spend an hour just to get her to sleep for like 45 minutes...

sometimes he just cant get settled down or something wakes him up like today I put him down and I dropped something like 10 minutes later and he wok up and will not go backto sleep

Yes, it is very frustrating and stressful for me too. For the past 3 days Alex was giving us a very hard time with naps. Today, thankfully, he has taken two naps and is waking from his second right now.

I get VERY frustrated when they won't take a nap! Its like you know they are tired but they just won't give in. Even if I put them in the crib they will cry hysterically and not settle down.

Very, I feel like crying sometimes! And I hate when I go to my mil's house and she complains "you guys are always trying to put the baby to sleep, and I want to see him"

Antoinette- Have you tried a sound machine? My friend suggested I play "white Noise" while Steven slept to help him STAY asleep and it really works. It's working right now!!!!!

Absolutely. Christopher decided a couple of weeks ago that one nap a day is good enough for him. It most certainly isn't, but he refuses to take more than one.

Me to - So it's really important to me that she naps.
Same thing here, I work from home 2 days a week, so sometimes I REALLY need DD to take a nap so I can get some things done and not be working until midnight.

Me too but its with my own mom! Whe never wants to let him take a nap. I know she wants to spend as much time as she can with him but she forgets that she gets to go home and I'm left with a tired, cranky baby.

Jacob takes a good nap in the morn usually about 2 hours to 2 and a half hours (around 8am) and thats when i sleep too... then around noon he takes another one but only about 45 min.. thats it after that, i try to get him to sleep in the later afternoon and he fights it and he turns into a BEAST!!!! He sleeps so much better at night when he naps good during the day...
