Guide Dog Puppies Need Homes

Hello,

I'm a volunteer at the Guide Dog Foundation and they have a huge dilemma. There are 27 puppies in need of temperary homes now. I know there are many golden retrievers. There may labs as well, and maybe lab/golden crosses and lab/poodle crosses.

Any one who is interested in volunteering as a puppy walker, to raise a pup for one year before it goes in for its official guide dog training--or if you know of anyone who might consider puppy walking, or even just taking a puppy home for a weekend to help socialize it at this important stage of their life--please contact:

I'm raising my fifth puppy now and just met the visually handicapped person that was matched with my fourth pup. YES, it hurts to give them up! but you can't imagine the joy and pride you feel, and the endless gratitude the people express, when you hand over a dog that will change their life for the better and have such a dramatic, positive effect on them. Don't let the hurt factor be your only excuse not to do this. Please! Twenty-seven adorable, well-bred puppies with wonderful temperaments need your love and guidance!

My in-laws did this for two puppies- sweetest dogs. Both of them "failed" though so now they are their official pets! They also raise a breeder dog so they have three dogs in the house now- so that can't take anymore puppies. But I can say- those dogs have such nice dipositions!

I would love to really take one but I think my dog is to hyper and I would bt nervous


But they are such beautiful GREAT DOGS

if i had a house i would totally do this. i only have a 1 bedroom and already have a cocker spaniel
