Does anyone else get nervous to be home alone at night?
Tonight DH went out with my dad and cousins (guys night out) and I went out to eat with my mom, sister, brother and cousin, got home around 10:30 and I have anxiety about being home alone. This is the 4th time I have been home alone and pg and I always have anxiety. I was wondering if anyone else has it? I am here with my dog Roxy but she isn't much of a watch dog.

YES YES YES.
I am a basket case when my DH has to travel for work which isn't very often thank god.
When he's out later than me I cannot go to bed until he gets home.
If I get home after dark I freak out and check everywhere to make sure no one is in the house. I know its crazy but I have always been this way.

Yes i freak out too!! My DH works till 11:30 every nite and I hate being here alone. One night the lights went out when it was raining, and i swear I almost DIED FROM A HEART ATTACK!! I grabbed my cell phone and the dog and ran outside into my car and I sat there until he came home from work. My adrenaline must have really been pumping cause the baby was moving so much i thought he was going to kick and punch his way out of me!!  It's worse when my DH works overnites too sometimes from 11pm till 7am... I sleep with all the lights on!! You are definitely not alone...

DH will be happy to know that I am not crazy. I dont know what is going to happen when the baby comes along. I am very fortunate though to have my parents 5 minutes from me.

you are not alone at all. I am so afraid to be alone too. I listen for every noise and keep the tv on as well. He always tells me that I need to grow up. I just don't like that feeling.

MY DH works mid-8 am so im used to it. In the beginning i hated it though.

It never used to bother me, but now that I'm PG it does sometimes. I always have my dog Dixie with me and she makes me feel better.

DH had an alarm installed for me for just this reason. When he is out no matter what time it is I always have it on.
Boy does it give me sooooo much peace since I know he made our house into Fort Knox

Yes, I hate to be alone when DH travels for work. Thankfully, we are living back in NY (lived in Ireland for 18 mnths) and my MIL lives with us (her own apt) and now I am never alone.
