Manicure Spin-off
I've been meaning to ask this on here --> If you go for a manicure and it costs $5.00 (which is what my place charges) how much tip would you give? I was giving $2, but then I started thinking that may be too much.
Opinions?

I gove a $2 tip for my $6 manicure, $3 for a $9 french
Although $1 would really be fine..for a $5 mani, that's 20%

My place charges $12...NYC for ya! But they add tax so $12.50 and then they assume you will give them $2.50 if you gave them $15...I get so annoyed....i have to find a new place.

where do you go?
There's a place on 33rd St (I think - it might be 32nd) between Broadway and 7th that I always loved. Manicures are $7 + tax. It's a pretty large place, and they're fast and neat.
