not sure if this is really a home post.....
but I wanted to show you guys my babies.
They are just over two weeks old now & are all female(we hope). They will be laying eggs by the end of the summer & should lay an egg a day each for a few years. this is why I LOVE living out in the country.
they came in the mail from Iowa, there were 27 at first, but I adopted most of them out
3 days old
a week old
And now-yesterday was the first time they went outside
Just thought I'd share my latest project.

so cute! My MIL has chickens and we eat the eggs for breakfast when we are there. Her next endeavor is goat milk...also 10 goats qualifies her as a farm and a reduction in taxes, not sure if thats something that you would look into!

They are so cute...and nothing as good as a fresh egg for breakfast!!
Where do you live, if I may ask? I love the green house you posted too. I am not much of a gardener but it made me wish I was!
