Yes, but I heard that they dont have bus service. As in you have to drive your kids to school. Is that right??

I thought it was a state law that if you live ___ from the school that your kids gets free bus service? Chat Icon

They are good schools I live in sayville and we looked in bayport but didn't find anything we liked. The only thing I was told about the bayport-bluepoint school district and I could be wrong is that the bluepoint properties pay lesser taxes than the bayport properties but get the benefits of the good school district.

We live in Blue Point.

Yes...the taxes here are less than Bayport. The SD is Bayport-Blue Point. And there are no buses. I am not sure if it is because everyone lives within a certian mileage of the school...or if it has to do with taxes or what.

P.S...we really like our neighborhood. Our neighbors have lived here for 35 years and LOVE it. They are retired and are now expanding their home.
