Please recommend a combo coffee maker and expresso machine! (Updated on the bottom and need help!)
I want to get one for Phil's bday. We have one, but her broke the expresso glass holder and has been whining how he misses his expresso.

Delonghi has two great ones....Nabucco and Figaro(at least I think thats the names) but Delonghi no less.

We have the Tassimo. You can make espresso, regular coffee, tea, and just about anything on it.

We have the Tassimo. You can make espresso, regular coffee, tea, and just about anything on it.
I agree with tassimo it is great to make espresso or even cappachino's.

Okay, I bought this for Phil for his bday. We were excited and we tried to make coffee and expresso and both exploded on us! Phil is really good with mechanical things so I am pretty positive we put it together correctly. We read the directions and tried a couple of times and it just makes a huge mess.
Anyone else have this problem?

We have the DeLonghi Figaro, but I want to return it.
Its really wierd, when I go to make coffee in the morning, the water doesnt brew.It heats up, but the water doesnt drip down. And the manual is no help. I would not recomment the Figaro model

Phil is so annoyed at it, it made such a mess. I am returning it tomorrow! I feel bad, I got him a bad bday present.

If you just broke the glass holder try this web site to replace it www.thegourmetdepot.net
I have a krups combo and I was able to replace the carafe when it cracked.

Maybe it was defective. But Phil was so annoyed with it, he didn't want anything else to do with it. So I returned it.

My Krups Coffee/Espresso Machine
LOVE IT!!! The only thing I don't like is that it does not have an automatic turn on. The next model up was too expensive....so this was my Xmas gift last year!
