Yet another hair/highlights question!
For those of you with highlighted hair, how often do you get it done?
How do I know if I want half a head or a full head?

I get it done every 3 months. I usually get a whole head b/c my hair is up ALL THE TIME and I dont like when it is darker on the bottom then on the top since it is noticable with my hair always up!

i get a whole head once, maybe twice a year and half head each other time. i do it every other month (about 8 wks in between)

I have partial HLs, mainly to hide my grey, and I get it done about every 10-12 weeks.

I get it done about every 3-4 mnths and I do the whole head. I don't like chucks on me, I rather had smaller, more natural highlights. Right now I have highs & lows weaved in, although my front is too chunky.

I try to get it done every 3-4 months. I get a full, cause I keep my hair up alot.
I just realized I haven't gone in 5 months - I need to make an appt.

I got mine done for the wedding 2 months ago and I am deciding if I want to keep it up. As far as half or full head, if you go to a good stylist, they can do half a head and make it really look like you got a full head of highlights.

i have dark hair and highlight it blonde so i should go every 4 weeks...my roots sprout quickly! i end up going every 6 - 8 weeks. i usually do a full head, and then 2 partials before the next full. my colorist throws highlights underneath for me when i get a partial because she knows i wear a ponytail often.

My hair grows really slowly, so I'm hoping I don't have to go too often. I haven't cut it in a year, and it has only gone from chin length to just past my shoulders

every 6 weeks I get a framing, every 3-4 months (every 3rd visit or so) I get a full set.

Half head every two months and a full head every four months....so basically every two months I am in there....I have A LOT of gray
