Another car seat question

Ryan will be 1 next month, and is already 20lbs...

His feet arent touching the seat yet, and Im not so sure they will be- by his 1st b-day...

Isnt rear facing the safest way??? If he isnt uncomfortable.... Do I have to turn him around???

I think rear facing is the safest and intend to keep mine that way until their feet are touching the seat.
I say if he's comfortable - leave him.

The longer you can leave him rear, the better.Chat Icon

The longer he's rear facing, the better. DH turned his seat around shortly after his first birthday. I still keep the seat in my car rear facing (at almost 14 months) although I will have to turn it soon, very soon... like tomorrow Chat Icon

Even if the feet touch the back seat, you don't need to turn. My daughter is 17 months and in the 75th percentile for height and still rear facing. You need to turn when they reach the seats rear facing weight limit (33 pounds for mine).
