I guess I can offically come here
I gave myself a year before I would begin posting on IF. So it has now been a year since we got our okay to TTC after losing our son at a month old. And only one chemical pg to show for the past year.
I had a second HSG done and was on clomid for 2 months. The second HSG again showed a blockage in my left tube. I did have the sono which showed I was ovulating last month from the right tube and of course, no luck. I actually broke pretty bad when AF showed which prompted me to ask DH if we could officially take a TTC break right now - meaning no OPK's, no charting, no temping, no RE doctors, no clomid or any tests. And if it happens it happens.
While I may not be posting much right now, I have to let so many of you know how you do inspire me to keep on going and not let this get the best of me. I hope after 2 months my head is back in a better place to try again.

Donna, a break is so healthy to take. You will feel so recharged after taking time out from temping, OPKs, etc. I wish you lots of baby dust and lots of luck in your TTCing

recharging is a great idea. during this time, try to nuture your body in every way-good food, kind words and thoughts about it, massage and whatever else makes you happy!!! take care!!

I actually gave myself a break this month, too, so I know how you feel on that front.
We're only now in the process of testing. I have to schedule my first HSG within the next few weeks along with other lovely tests the Dr. planned for us. I've posted here and there on this board half feeling like I don't have the right too, but with 6 months of ttc and being over 35 I fell that I can get some real insight and inspiration from these ladies.

Donna, I am so sorry that you have to "officially" join this board (I wish this board didn't even exist to be honest  ) But I think that taking a break is a positive step, both physically and mentally..
I wish you nothing but good luck in the months ahead and pray that you and all the ladies here will be off this board and onto Pregnancy soon!!

Donna I want to say welcome but....nobody really WANTS to be on this board.
On the positive side -- you will get tons of support, and information (solicited or not, lol!!). Each girl's triumph is like a small victory for all of us on here.
I was the same way - after my m/c last April, I didn't want to face the fact that I might have fertility issues and I refused to come on this board - until I had my bloodwork done. But thanks to this board, I knew enough to push my OB to do the tests, and what to ask about afterwards.
And we understand about raging hormones, that's for sure. So kick back and join us, and may your stay be short and sweet.
