I need a new haircut
I am tired of my hair. It does nothing, it just lays there. It's so damn thick that a week after I get a haircut, it looks like I didnt. My hair past my shoulder blades, but not long-long. I want to keep the length because I have been trying to grow it long. I guess layers is my only option huh?

yes, layers will make SUCH a difference! I have thick hair too, and it looks so much better with the layers. Just make sure they don't cut them too short, or you will get poofy

I know the feeling just get a "dusting" on ur hair to help it grow.. thats what i do.. wouldnt layers make your hair look more thicker if thats not what you want?

I just got my haircut this morning, and I got a lot of layers by my face and it looks great. My hair is long though. I feel long layers gives any hair a great look.

If your hair is thick, layers will only make it bigger...
What about some longer side bangs and framing around your face? I just did this to my hair and I LOVE it!! - my bangs start a little longer.. middle of my nose..

Don't they have those thinning shears? Where it cuts some of your hair out? Maybe that will help.........

I agree. I have very thick hair (I have a lot of thin strands, my actual strands are not thick) and long bangs made a world of difference!
