Dear Pharmaceutical companies....
Can you please use the billions of dollars you have to come up with a miracle pill that takes away Acid Reflux/gas/colic/ for infants. Stop using your money on pills to give 80 yr old men erections and use it more wisely for the suffering babies and even more so suffering mommies.

Yes jacob is on zantac and prevacid... some days are better than others... just the way it is i suppose...

yes tried 4 formulas and now sticking with nutramigen. guess with time things will get better...

Are you getting help??? Maybe you should see someone (a therapist) to help you get through this hard time. And/or get a nanny for say 1 day a week to give you a well deserved break. I know you just kind of through that suicidal comment in there but even if you are havng even the remotest thought you need to get some help. You have to take care of yourself.

Thanks for the support, yeah the suicidal comment was more of an exageration.. The closest i would come to attempting suicide is jumping out my first floor bathroom window into the backyard! just very frustrated. I keep a journal and write about how each day goes with him, it helps a lot and also is a good log for me to update the ped. Thanks again though girls for your understanding and support ... I know i'm not alone...

Awwwww, hang in there, it WILL get better, I promise. I struggled and grappled with a terribly collicky baby for months... everyone kept saying it will get better at 3 months... well, it didn't, and I wanted to jump out a window on several occasions. But, now that we've hit 5 months, things are getting much, much better... just keep in mind that although every second feels like a lifetime right now, eventually this phase will pass... there will be an end to it and you'll have a charming, sweet, happy little baby and it will make you appreciate him all the more when that time comes
