Stopped BC Pills AF is Late!
Hi all just a question for you ladies I recently stop taking the pill last month and now it is around that time for AF to come and it is no where to be found. Cant be preggos because we have been using protection.(starting ttcing in September)
I mean I am not even getting any symtoms you know(light cramping , sore breasts) nothing. I would like you ladies input on this. Was the first AF after stopping BC pills usually late?

Hey!
We are not TTC yet but I had to go off my BC for a month earlier in the year... i went about 33 days or so before getting AF- I think your body just has to adjust to not being on the hormones.

yep, took me 40+ days to get AF after coming off the pill. now, a full 12 months later, I am down to a "regular" 28-29 day cycle.

This is my 2cond month off BC i was 28 days on the pill, 32 days last month, and im still waiting for AF and its day 33 today- so who knows? I think its goign to take a little longer for my body to become regular.

My doctor told me for one with normal periods when the started the BCPs that it can take 1-6 months for your period to regulate again when you go off. Some people have a normal cycle right away but others take some time. If you weren't normal before BCP you might not be normal again now

I am in the same situation. I justed stopped BCP and just got AF....2 weeks late. I was scheduled for a blood test this past monday.
It just takes a while for your body to remember how to regulate itself...don't worry it will get it together again.

I had two normal cycles after coming off BC in February..since then...nothing.....

I got my first AF after coming off the BCp after 32 days, the next one after 23 days and then I got my BFP
