I go for my nuchal translucency test tomorrow
What should I expect? Is it just an ultrasound and a blood test? Is the ultrasound external or internal?

I had mine at 11 weeks. It was an external unltrasound and I was amazed at how big and real the baby looked! They took a vial of blood to if I remember correctly!
Good luck, you get to see your bean again!

Mine was an internal and external. Plus they took blood. I had mine last week. Good luck

I had mine today, they did both an internal and external. They measured the baby to date the pregnancy and got the heart rate. then they took 3-4 pictures of the neck fold which is the nucal translucency part. After this, they took a vial of blood. You tehn have to go ack at 16 weeks for another blood sample, which completes the integrated testing. It is amazing to see how the baby actually looks human and how active it is!

Mine was an external sonogram - a blood and urine test!!
