Re: Blue Honu in Huntington!
The atmosphere is great - they have a huge bar and a sitting area behind that. They have the BEST coconut martini I have ever had. The food is just okay and because of that I think it's overpriced. I love it for drinks but not for dinner. I know a lot of people who love the food though...My suggestion - go there for drinks and then go around the corner to Tomo, Japanese Steakhouse - it's awesome!

I only went once and I thought the atmosphere is cool. Looks like a great place to socialize for drinks or a group for dinner. The food was good. The service was fine.

I couldn't have said it better! Tomo is so much fun to go with friends! Blue Honu has a hopping night scene, but the last two times I went the food was mediocre at best, and the bar crowd was SO obnixious!

Re: Blue Honu in Huntington!
DH and I love Blue Honu. We only go for dinner...but having to wait at the bar can be obnoxious. It is usually crowded...but depending on what night you go there it isn't bad. We've always had great service, and the food has never disappointed.
I agree...Tomo is great as well!
