I just told my Dad about the baby to be...
I felt bad since my mom wasn't home when I called but I was bursting to tell them. He was SOOO emotional- it kinda freaked me out- I had to give the phone to my DH. He kept crying and saying, my name over and over. Then he told me I made his life- this is what he was waiting for. I am so overwhelmed by his response. Now I am really scared to tell my mom- she is going to flip!
I just wish I wasn't 3000 miles away- I was going to fly home and tell them but I couldn't wait.

I know the feeling! I'm 1000 miles away and told my dad and sis via e-mail (the pic of the test). The whole 9 months my dad balked at being made a grandfather, then once the time came to give birth....he admitted he was excited and how much he loved the baby already. And when he was here....forget it. What a mush!

Although this is my second child and my brother has 2 kids my parents cried this time around. This is the only girl. My parents finally got their granddaughter  after 3 grandsons.
