Which hospital in Manhattan are/did you giving birth ?
Just wondering. As of now, I am going to be at NYU. Any feedback about Manhattan hospitals are welcome.

I gave birth at NYU - it is a really good hospital, but they have more patients that they have room for!!!! It was chaotic there for sure, but I guess when it comes down to it, what really matters is that they are competent.

Columbia Presbyterian but I took my lamaze classes at nyu. If my doctor had been affiliated to it, I would have loved it there. it's a great hospital.

NYU - I loved it! Everyone was great and the birthing room was big and comfortable.

how many guests did they allow to visit at once at NYU or columbia, etx? i went to some hospital in flushing, qns and they only allowed 2 ppl per visit. beautiful room, tho. i went to NY Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Bklyn.. just to check out the birthing facilities. lemme tell ya.. that hospital to me is ghetto. i thought it would be clean since it is a hospital but apparently i thought wrong. what's good is they allow up to 4 ppl per visit.. rooms are pretty spacious and that's a plus. i'm no where near preg but interested as future reference. thx moms-to-be!

Two of my very close girlfriends delivered at NYU and have nothing but great things to say- they are both on #2 and going back!
