Dana Reeves... some thoughts about her death.

i know this is a NFR topic but i felt that it deemed posting since I am now a mother. I did not know much about this woman except for how couragous she was and how she stood behind her husband during the good times and the bad. Its just so sad to hear that she died expecially since she has a 13 year old son that now will grow up with no parents. That has got to be touch. the news said that Dana also lost her mother in October so now this boy has no grandmother, father or mother. Very sad. Thanks for letting me express how i feel. Makes you cherish what you have in life, without the material things.

i know, i was deeply affected by the news. i actually gasped when i read it online this morning. what a courageous woman. they just did a whole tribute on access hollywood and I was bawling!

yeah i just saw it. and they are going to have tomorrows show about it also.

Holy crap.. how did she die?? This is the first I heard of it!!.. TVs been off all day!

I was so upset about this, and very sad about there son who lost his father and now mother.

my first thoughts were pure devastation...a woman who gave her all to her disabled husband and child only to succumb to an illness like LUNG cancer without being a smoker...

Their poor son, 13 years old and both parents tragically dead...sometimes I wonder about the fairness of things...

I really feel for their son. It seems like such a burden for a young boy to carry.
I hope that he will be raised by family who can help him through this horrible time.

I lost my Dad in 94,then my mom in 98, & my only grandparent in 99 so I know how he feels. I was lucky enough to be about 15 years older then their son. But, it is still a devastating thing. I hope he has ALOT of support of friends & other family members!! My heart truly goes out to that whole family.
