has anyone had alcohol to drink while pregnant?
I'm curious if anyone has had any alcohol during their pregnancy - my two sister-in-laws and a few friends said they had an an occasional glass of wine while in their third trimester or so...........CURIOUS!

nope, and I won't either. Very tempted sometimes but GOD FORBID if something does happen, I couldn't help but wonder "what if I didn't have that small glass of wine"

No way. No alcohol since being preggo, and none until after! However, I did tell everyone that as soon as they wheel me into recovery, there better be a bottle of wine waiting for me!

I have had some wine.. My doctor said it is perfectly fine.. When I had it I had half a glass of 7 up / sprite and then 1/2 glass of wine...
supposedly red wine is good for you..

I wouldnt do it, no need, BUT you can have a glass or two of wine. When I was PG the first time, my Uncle Died and my DR told me to drink a glass of red wine to ease my anxiety ( I didnt though, again just no desire to) and I know PG women who order white wine spritzers when out.

Dr said I could but I am so exhausted as is that I don't need anything else to make me even more exhausted..

I take a sip of whatever Al's drinking, and I had half a glass of champagne at Christmas.
I miss my cocktails!
My Dr recommended having a glass of wine when I had insomnia, but I didn't have to resort to that.

I had wine when I was pregnant. I would only have one glass. If we went out sometimes I would have an Oduls to feel like I was still hanging out.

I don't frown on people who do, but I am not that big of a drinker to begin with so I don't miss it too much. Plus, as said before, I too am tired enough as it is

My last pregnancy, I had a glass of champagne at my friend's wedding. No biggie, and I got a nice buzz from one glass!

didnt know i was preggo for 8 weeks so did it without knowing, havent since i found out. i will put a drop from dh's wine on my lip to taste but thats about it. i cannot wait to have a glass after the baby. im looking forward to a glass of sangria.

I had an occasional sip of red wine. Altogether through pregnancy I probably had about a half a glass. My Dr said absoultely no alcohol the first 3 months and Ok to some red wine on special occasions after the first trimester.
There is nothing wrong with that, red wine is actuallty good for you. As long as you stay away from hard liquer

My DR said thay a small glass of wine once in a blue moon was fine, but I never had any desire!

I didn't drink anything while pregnant with Joseph. With Maddie, I had one sip of wine during a toast at my friend's wedding.
I wasn't worried about drinking. My friend's ob/gyn told her if one glass of wine was going to reduce stress, than the baby was better off. I drink so infrequently to begin with that it wasn't a big deal for me.

There is nothing wrong with a glass of wine once in a while, my doc actually said one a week is fine, in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I just had a glass last night as a matter of fact! I also had probably 6 or 8 glasses total throughout my first pregnancy and Angela came out just right!

My doc also said a glass of wine during your 3rd trimester is fine. I had a wine spritzer (like a glass of seltzer and a dash of wine) at a wedding during my 8th month and I nursed that for like 4 hours.
