I saw my regular OB/GYN this morning!
Everything looks great! She did a vaginal ultrasound. Baby is measuring 3 days ahead of schedule. It's now 21.8mm. I even saw it moving. She said the baby had a beautiful heartbeat! I forgot how amazing and surreal it really is! I'm really happy.
I told her about the bleeding on Saturday and my whole ordeal with the hospital. She did a pelvic exam, and she didn't see any bleeding or spotting. She doesn't see how the bleeding is coming anywhere from the baby or the pregnancy. She did say however that a piece of the tissue from the inside of my cervix might be causing the bleeding. I believe she said it was exposed a little bit? Not sure what she called it. She said we'll go with that causing the bleeding since she can't see where else it would be coming from. She said hopefully this will be the last of the bleeding and spotting and continue with a healthy PG! She still doesn't see any more problems!
I just absolutely love my Dr. She is such a sweet woman.
I just wanted to update you ladies since you've been such a great support system!
