Spotting...
Did anyone have very, very light spotting in the beginning of their pregnancy? I am 8 weeks and I have had light spotting ( very light ) on and off for about a week. It's only when I wipe (sorry if TMI), I just don't know how concerned I should be. Any feedback would be great.

Re: Spotting...
With my first PG I had a TON of red spotting and Bleeding, sometimes as heavy as AF and there was nothing much wrong. With my M/c The spotting was brown almos the entire time.
A few spots could be nothing, its very common to spot so dont worry.
i would for sanity's sake, call the dr, and ask them for a sono....It will ease your mind and they should have no problem doing it at 8 weeks and with spotting. If they tell you to wait or anything, just be more insistent. They wont turn you down, and I think it would help a lot to make you feel better, ease any worries....

The spotting is a very light brown and I don't always have it. I have been seeing an RS so I have already had 3 sono's and at my 7th week appt we did see the heartbeat. I have another appointment (actually my last) with them on Wednesday so I will mention then unless the spotting gets worse.

Re: Spotting...
I spotted a few times during pregnancy I don't remember exactly when, but the reason was because I was dehydrated...

Re: Spotting...
I am 6 weeks 2 days and started to spot with brownish color today. I called the dr. immediately becuase I thought it was AF beginning even though it was brown. I went in for blood and sono and they said everything looks good. They told me if it's brown than it's ok...if it turns bright red that could be a problem.
Good luck!

Re: Spotting...
spotting is normal....you should be concerned if there is cramping associated with the bleeding and if you see tissue matter/clots
