Kind of bummed
The only reason why we can afford to buy a house is because of DH. I don't mean to sound obnoxious, but he's just making really good money. If he continued in the industry he's in but went somewhere else, I doubt he'd have the salary he's got now.
Anyway, he's been away on business this week and his boss has been a jerk. Now he's thinking about leaving and told me yesterday that we should put our house hunt on hold.
I don't want him to stay at a job that makes him so unhappy but at the same time, it's just disappointing that I probably won't get into a house now.
I hope I don't sound selfish...it's not my intention...we both want a house so badly!

what makes you think that a new job won't compensate him well? Maybe a few months seems like a long time to wait, but it isn't. Wait and see what happens.

Hang in there, I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Better he make a change now BEFORE you are strapped to a Big mortgage. Being happy at work is also so important. It will all work out, and you WILL eventually get your house!!

Everything will work out. I'm sure that if he gets another job he will still be able to make good money. Really the most important thing is to be happy with what you are doing, and where you work because that consumes so much of your time.
Hopefully this doesn't put your house hunting on hold for too long!
