Did anyone get a "false negative" when taking an EPT?
I am 28 days like clockwork, and this month I am 3 days late, but got a BFN. I want to think it's because I tested late afternoon after drinking water and soda all day, but I used a digital test so I can't believe it would be wrong.

I know there are a bunch of girls on here who have had that happen and were actually pregnant.

The digitals aren't that sensitive. I would go buy an Answer Early. Good Luck.

The hormone levels might not have been high enough - or diluted. Its best to use first morning urine or do a four hour hold ( thats what I did) I got my positive w/the digital the day after af was due. The day of and day before I got BFN!

Digitals are not sensitive, and even though you have 28 day cycles, you may have implanted later .......
I highly recommend equate from walmart, it's 25 miu...and can usually detect even lower levels of hcg.

Thanks everyone. I took another test in the morning and it was also BFN, but it was also a digital, and I still don't have AF. Plus, I checked the box and the test expired May, 2005! I'm sure it still works but I'm kind of ****** I spent $13 on an expired test!

I got several BFN when I was actually PG-I was testing too early.
