How long for a closing date??

after you get approved for a mortgage?? We are in final stages of getting the mortgage and I was wondering when I would get the closing date!!! I can't wait!! I have been in contract for almost 5 months!!

It's all up to underwriting now. Getting approved is only step one of what can be a long process. Once you are approved, you will be required to provide them with several documents and they will have to conduct many extensive checks. (employment verification, credit checks, etc.)
