Blue Fin on 46th and 7th. My boss likes that place. Its in the W Hotel. Heavy on the seafood.

There is a large back room. It can get noisy. Unfortunately lots of restaurants here can. You are talking Times Square...
I have a place down the block from my office- not too fancy- but usually pretty quiet. Its Angus McIndoe and its on 44th b/w 7th and 8th- closer to 8th.

although a little out of your radius- there's Per Se & Masa in the Time Warner Center @ columbus circle and then there's a Rosa Mexicana by lincoln center.

I work around that area. These are some of my bosses' favorites:
Cite - 51st between 6th/7th
Remi - 145 West 53rd Street
Bar Americain 152 W. 52nd Street LINK
Le Bernardin - 155 W. 51st St. ( this one!)

I work right there too and agree with all of these!
There is also a Serafina on 55th & B'dway.
