Digital Cameras?
With my baby's due date approaching, I'd really like to get a digital camera. I feel like I'm the last person on earth without one.
I was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation for a good one under $300? We don't really have the money to spend much more then that right now. But I've seen some digital photos that were very grainy also and I want good shots of my little one.
I'm also adding a poll to this. Wondering how many people are left that still use traditional film for all of thier pics, like me!

we bought a great digital camera that also records video at walmrt it was 400 marked down to 150 i ts from Minolta i would check out walmart and i love the way it takes pics not grainy at all what do u think?and that after i resized them i think it has good quality Image Attachment(s):

Fuji F10 is a 6 mexa pixel camera..this camera
has the lowest noise/grain out of all pocket cameras out there..great camera! also best camera for low light photos...it can print up to 11x17 photos..
buydig.com has it for $273..

We have an Olympus Stylus. I love it. So easy to use. We've had it for 2 years now and no problems.

I have a cybershot also and I hate it. It takes too long to snap the pic and then the baby ends up moving. The flash does this flickering thing before it takes the pic and the baby looks a deer caught in headlights. I plan to buy another one in the next few months.

There are so many models, so I'm not sure how different they are. I have the DSC-P72. Try it out and see how you like the one you bought. It may turn out that my model s u c k s.

I don't know which model Cybershot I have, all I know is I can't stand it. Like steph said, it takes too long to shoot the picture, and no matter where I get the photos developed, shutterfly, walgreens, cvs, I NEVER like the quality...everyone always looks orange-toned.

I have a 4.0 kodak easy share and I also got it on sale in walmart it was originally $300 and I got it for $150 it takes great pics here are some

we have a 7.0 mega pixel Pentax camera - we bought it right before our wedding for our New Zealand honeymoon and we love it. our pictures come out awesome and it is really easy to use!

Beena- I'm starting to research Cameras. How is your Pentax holding up? What model is it?
It is great - no complaints! Almost two years old already. It is a Pentax Optio 750Z.
I think we are going to buy a second camera - NIKON D80 soon, but it is on the larger side - depending on of we want to go big or small depending on our outing we will still be using both cameras.
