Do you write thank you's out for every gift you receive
I feel like I am always writing thank you's out. I sent them out for the baby shower, if people came to the hospital and brought gifts and now for his christening. I was wondering if anyone is the same way because I have been to a few things were I haven't received a thank you and I wonder if I am going overboard.

I have been doing the same thing - and its funny cause I said to my DH, no one else sends them

I write Thank you's for everything. I'm sure there have been a large # of people who have gotten TY's for my shower, birth of DS and christening. I hope I'm not writing the same thing in each one!

I sent thank yous for my shower, gifts received after her birth, and christening gifts. basically whenever she gets a gift.

Yes I write them. I usually acknowledge the gift that was given such what a beautiful outfit you gave DD, we can't wait for her to wear it.

Yes....always seem to be writing them....I think its nice when people go to the bother of sending DD something to acknowledge the time and expense that went into it.
I have always been a thank you card type of person just didnt need to do it as often before DD was born.
