ovulation after Af

can you ovulate after 3 days of your period? af ended on Thursday and yesterday by my ovaries i had a sharp pain on my left side it did not last long but i get it everytime after my monthly is done after 3 days. can you ovulate after three days or is normally longer? thanks

You count ovulation from day 1 of af. So, depending on how many days you have af for, that, would be what cycle day it is.

If you have a 5 day af, you would have ovulated on day 8, and yes its possible.

Ro, you can easily ovulate while you have your period. Have you been keeping track of your period every month? If so, look back to when you have your period, count back about 14 days and see if that is about 3 days after you have AF.

I have a monthly calendar in my planner. I write down in a day's box any pains I feel. Then I am able to notice if there is a pattern. For instance, I would write down that I had a sharp pain on my right side and that it felt painful to walk. I noticed that I had this pain pretty much 14 days before AF would come. I was able to deduce that it was ovulation.

i did and i get every 12 days thats weird i did not get 14! thanks ladies for your help.
