is this a deal for the starter kit? or do you think I might get something I cannot use since the shades might be off?

 THAT'S AN AMAZING DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! the brushes alone are worth that much!
I have fair skin so I got the light starter kit. it included 2 foundations, 1 was perfect for me, the other is not. that 1 color is the only thing I don't use.

I am fair, but I always get something either too fair or too dark...ugh guess I'll try the light!

That's the same deal that I got - Couldn't find it for any less, and the powder lasts a long time because you use so little of it.
I got the fairly light and light - I don't consider myself fair skinned. HTH

try the light... like I said, it comes with 2 different shades. and you can even mix the 2 shades to form a whole new shade 
you will LOVE this makeup!

The only thing I use (after owning it all, LOL) is the actual foundation and the kabuki brush. I don't care for mineral veil or warmth....the actual foundation (I wear fairly light) is the best to me!

It lasts a LONG time. Im just finiashing my foundation I got for Christmas now...I tend to buy it about 2 times a year. Thats a good price. The foundation doesnt have that many colors to get it wrong.
I like buying from QVC, they always offer deals with free brushes etc.

That's a great deal! I got my starter kit for $45 from Ulta and it only had Light and Fairly light, mineral veil, the warmth, and the small brush.

cool I'm ordering! The only thing that annoys me is I got right before check out and it said something where I would be entered in a "Free Club" to get $40 worth (+ shipping) of stuff every 60 days! You have to call and cancel after you purchase if you don't want it, but I its jsut annoying that you have to call.
But I am ordering anyway... sounds like I will like it!

I ordered the kit from the infomercial. I actually did it online. Once you are a member you can go online and change the autoship date so it will be delivered when you need it.
