Favorite Carribean Island
Which island is your favorite and why? Also, please add where you stayed and what time of year you went. Thanks!

I would have to say ARuba...I've been to St. Lucia, turks and caicos, puerto rico, nassau (bahamas), and the DR....Aruba has the most to do, best food, and you could go anywhere on the island yourself...didn't feel the need to be confined to the resort.

We have been to Mexico (Cozumel and Cancun), Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Barbados, and Nevis. I definitely liked Barbados the best. The beach was the nicest and the food was great.

aruba, hands down. perfect weather all year round, and theres so much to do besides just suntan. i went in july, i stayed in our timeshare

Haven't been to any except for VIrgin Gorda for our honeymoon, stayed at Little Dix Bay--was AMAZING! We'll definitely go back for an anniversary soon day.Pics here

We we to St.John and stayed at Caneel Bay on our honeymoon. We LOVED St.John.....best beaches I have ever sceen!

I would say St. John. I have been to numerous Caribbean Islands and SJ is by far my favorite. Best beaches, great food and decent nightlife! Can't recommend a resort as my brother lives there so we stayed with him and his mom. :)

I think Aruba or St. Marten- we've been to alot of islands too - Puerto Rico, Bahamas, St Thomas, St Johns, St Kitts, St Barts, Barbados.

Anguilla without a doubt. The food is the best although VERY expensive. They have the absolute best beaches and it is a very safe and friendly island since it so small (about 10 miles by 25 mles). A definte must.

I second this... we went there for part of our honeymoon and it was amazing and the food is beyond phenomenal!!

I dont think I have a favorite island... we usually go to a different place each year but we have enjoyed all of our vacations in Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Cancun... nothing beats Hawaii for me though

Jamaica- We both love staying at The Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay and also The Halfmoon Resort. DH and my dad love to golf at The Halfmoon. Another fave of is The Royal Plantation so lush and nice. Great hideaway.
ST. Johns- The Cannel Bay Resort is so gorgeous. We just loved it so much.

So far in the Caribbean I have only been to Nassau (Bahamas) and the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana). Both were beautiful, but I loved Cabo San Lucas for a tropical destination so much more (even though I know it's not in the Caribbean). We'll be going to St. Maarten in a few weeks and Aruba next year so I hope to have some new favorites!

Turks & Caicos !!!!!!
Beaches resort is a must ...
We have gone in August & September ..
Both months were perfect..
September was nice if you are going without kids..there were only a few little ones (not even walking yet) !!
The food is amazing.. The beaches are awesome.. The snorkling/scuba diving is one of the best in the world ..
we have gone there in 2000 2002 2004 & plan on going Aug 2007 the 1st time was for our HM then we convinced the entire family to go with us in 2002 so 14 people went & they loved it soo much we had 20 people in 2004.
We all plan on going again with a few more additions summer of 2007
We are starting the plans now since there are so many of us !!!

I've only been to St. Lucia - but I loved it. DH raves about the Atlantis Resort - he went for work stuff and said it was really amazing.
