i can't help to think if it is just purely coincidental or a cause for suspicion.

anyone care to share their view?

Well for starters... I posted a link to a thread on this site from a LIW thread. I know of one member that seemed to have joined from that (coincidentally).

Its not a cause for speculation.

I think it would be helpful if there was more of an introduction...ie, I'm married x years, living in Suffolk/Nassau/Manhattan/OOT, I work in a gardening center, etc.

I know for me, I started posting here because people are so much nicer. I really can't post on LIW because I think some of the topics and questions are silly. JMHO

I'm new I hope you guys don't think I'm a Fakie Sorry If I didn't leave any personal info in my profile or give much details with my first post. I used to post all the time on LIW's but had several incidents where family members and friends would go on and read all my posts and then confront me about them. I learned my lesson once, maybe when I feel more comfortable around these boards I will be more open about personal stuff. I hope you can all understand where I am coming from. And I just want you all to know that I am not a I am just being cautious.

I'm no fakie either. I introduced myself on the introduce yourself thread at the top of the page. I'm slowly transitioning over from LIW. I just hope the fact that I live in NJ is okay I did grow up on Long Island.... Coram to be exact.

I was an '05 bride and came over from LIW too but never formally introduced myself. I'm shy and didn't want to draw attention to myself.

I wasn't part of the "'05 gang" just a moderate poster, but I enjoy this site so much more. Anyway, I'm totally over the wedding, so why not move on?

ETA: I'll introduce myself now. I'm Michelle, 37 and too close to 38. I live in Islip and work in Manhattan at a job I love. I grew up in Dublin, Ireland. I came to NY in 1999 when I was 31 and have never looked back

I am new also- I introduced myself on the familes helping families board

My Name is Beth- I live in Long Beach- got married 12/10/05

I work in the housewares industry -developing new kicthen products- can openers etc

I am trying to get over the wedding planning- I really liked it
