Or maybe I'm just overly anxious about things:

DH and I were not actively trying this month for a few reasons, one being it was my first full month off of BC and the other being his crazy travel schedule.

Anyway, AF was due 4 days ago and nada... not even any symptoms of her either. I've been feeling the following for a little more than a week now:

sheer exhaustion, sleeplessness, especially last week, it was awful.

extreame dry mouth (especially at night), hot flashes (especially at night)

on and off waves of neaseau (since last thursday), comes in waves a different times of the day.

cold like symptoms for 2 days last week. still feeling a bit of congestion, but not so bad.

I was having really bad heartburn that was lasting for quite a few days (about a week prior to all these other symptoms) And was gassy (burping gassy) heartburn seems to have subsided though.

boobs not so sore, but nipples are (and damn, hard as a rock...sorry if TMI!)

pee more than normal and it's VERY yellow pee.

I took a HPT on Saturday (one day after AF was due). but was a BFN

I tend to over-react and can be a bit of a hypochondriac at times (thanks for that charactoristic dad! ) So I FEEL like I have pg symptoms, but I know me, and know that I make mountains out of molehills too.....

Not really looking for any advice... just felt the need to vent.

I'm going to try to hold out until Friday morning to test again.

You could really be PG. Some girls got late results after AF did not show up.

missy, you def have alot of the symptoms i had! Did you use an early pregnancy test like a first response early detection?? Good luck hon!! Any questions, FM me

trust me sweetie.... I'm only SAYING I'm going to wait until Friday... when in reality, I KNOW THAT AIN'T HAPPENING!

I want to make sure I test first thing in the morning (I understand the hormone levels are higher then). I had every intention of doing that this morning, but I was still half asleep when I went this AM. SO, I wrote myself three notes on a sticky and left one one the bathroom mirror and another one on the toilet seat and tank to make sure I don't forget tomorrow morning!

Iw as told that if you missed AF you're "fully pregnant, good and full" by my doctor...so the time doesn't matter. I woild test now!

i give you so much credit, i couldnt hold out, i even tested the first time at 400 in the afternoon and when i saw the faint line, i ran to the store to buy another one. I feel bad encouraging it, but i would totally say test now i just couldnt wait

So I told DH when he got home that AF still hasn't come but that I took a test and it was Neg. This is how the convo went:

Him: "has your monthly friend come?"

Me: "No, but not pg, took a test"

Him: "maybe it's wrong"

Me: "They're 99% accurate"

Him: Maybe, you're the 1% it doesn't work for... don't drink any alcohol just in case"
