I spend more time by myself since I got married!!
My DH and I never see each other. All the plans that we make have to be made over the phone because we are never in the same place at the same time!!! I just feel so alone all the time.

i know... ...but it gets better. my dh has been working a lot of weekends. i have weekends off. so i have been trying to do as much as i can on weekends so that we have our evenings together and that those nights have meaning. it is hard, though.

Aww, I know how you feel. Dh and I literally work opposite schedules. He works days, I work nights. We just try to make the time that we do have together very special.

I know how hard it can be. If I wasnt a SAHM I would never see my DH right now. He works the 9pm-5am shift and I was working the 8am-6pm shift

I feel like I never seem my hubby either, I feel like a single Mom half the time, and he works in Saturdays so we only get 1 day as a family on Sunday which is usually busy anyway. Hang in there, when you do finally get time together I hope it is magical.

Thank you ladies!!! It is just difficult right now with DH in school. He works days and goes to school 3 nights and Saturday morning. I work 5 nights a week. I know it will get better after he finishes school, but that is 1 1/2 yrs. away. I guess I'll just have to get some new hobbies.

Mine used to work 4 pm to 4 am , which I thought I hated. Then he got a more perm position and now he leaves on the 6:15 train and I am lucky if he is home by midnight. ANNNND he is a lawyer. Who ever started the perception they havegreat lives and make tons of money lied. I hang out with a good number of moms married to lawyers, they all work in the city and we all function together as they are never home.
It can only get better right..... keep smiling and hang on tight, it will all be worth it one day

I know how you feel. DH got a new job in March and he works every night (almost). We have to plan our time together on the phone, which is really hard cuz neither one of us can spend a lot of time on the phone at work.
