According to some news reports, estimated 8 - 10 hurricanes this season and 4 - 6 major hurricanes.

Great. I hope not. Their are still places just getting opened from 2004's Charlie.
I just dont want to be putting up and taking down the shutters every time a sign of a hurricane lingers.
what stinks is hubby works for the government and if he is at work or gets called into work he has to go. I really dont want to be home alone with the dog during a hurricane.
Though last year I kept opening the door to see outside since we had the shutters up

The bugs alone are scary. Hubby got attacked by red ants and was rushed to the hospital because of it. He now has to go for venom shots every week.
