Invited to a shower

She is registered at Babies r us, but I would love to go off on my own and get her a bumbo seat, and then buy somthing small on the registy. I love this couple to death and I am going to love this baby so much, that I am selfish and want her picture taken in the chair for me All the babies just look so comfy sitting in these chairs. Did it drvie you crazy when people did not stick to the registry? TIA

It didn't drive me crazy - but then again I got evyerthing off my registry and so much more. I like creative gifts. The only thing with the Bumbo seat is if she doesn't want it - it is bought online so more difficult to return - not like an easy trip to BRU.

Honestly, I never knew about the Bumbo seat and I don't think many people do. I would have LOVED to get that for my shower, I just didn't know it existed!
I've gotten Miracle Blankets for a few showers I've gone too, just because they worked so great for Cassidy, and again, alot of people don;t know about them to register for them.

I'd get it. I never knew about it and would have loved to get one as a gift!.......Some of the best and most useful things I got were not on my registry. I would get it!

thanks!!! it is a PITA that if they don't like it they would have to tell me and send it back, but I think I will take that chance.

people got me things I didn't register for and I didn't care cuz I used them as well
