Can someone recommend a barber in the Levittown area ???
The red afro is getting out of hand... so I need a cut for new years.
I won't have time tomorrow to go to my old barber in queens... so i need something somewhat local to me. Anything in the Levittown, Hicksville, East Meadow, Massapequa, Bethpage, general area would work.
Oh... and I would prefer to go to a "barber". I am not into the whole "salon unisex" thing.  Does anyone know a place their DH may go to thats any good?

theres a barber behind the hess station )next to taco bell and across from pathmark) on the turnpike.
also think there is one by toys r us.

When my DH is in a hurry , no joke he pays something like $3.75 at the barber behind the taco bell on Hemp tpke. They are fast, and they do a good job!

I thought my $8 cut in Queens on bell blvd was cheap.

my DH, his best friend, my neighbors all go to the place in the same shopping center as the post office. (also near the fire house). the main guys name is isaac and they all love him.

Nah Mike follows these chicks around from supercuts they went to top cuts and now they are at the lemon tree.

dh hs always gone to this barber on washington ave in massapequa, in that smal strip of stores, it's a group of 3 italian men. real gumba's they have been there for years~~ my FIL has been going to them for like 30 years now!! his whole family loves them!!
dh refuses to go to a salon but if he has to he goes to top cuts behind taco bell in bethpage. always been happy there too but always prefers his italian men!~!~

Dh goes to a barber shop in town in Merrick, they do a great job . He used to run back to Brooklyn to get it done becuase he could not find a place he liked here until he found this place. It is on the same side of the street as The Judaica store, almost across from McDonalds. HTH

That is where my DH goes - he brags that his hair cuts only cost $3.75.
