I have the Flu AND Strep Throat
I am praying so hard that Miranda doesn't get sick. I am miserable. I don't think I have ever even had the flu before or if I did it was so long ago that I don't even remember.
Of course I waited longer than 72 hours so I can't get Tamiflu but I am getting Amoxicillin for the strep and some pain pills for my throat so that I can get some fluids in me. I feel myself dehydrating because I am not making much milk.

ok you may think i am crazy, LOL. but when i get sick i wear a surgical mask, in the house only, lol. it really helps to keep the germs away from the kids.

DH isn't as sick as I am, he only has strep and his fever isn't as high (mine has been 102 most of the day) so he has pretty much done it all. I've been pumping because I don't even have the energy to nurse and then pump.
My mom is coming up tomorrow to spend the day because I can't take care of her. It makes me so sad because I know she wants me but I can't stop coughing or blowing my nose long enough to really hold her.
How are you and Talia feeling?

Awwww... hope you feel better soon! I know when I had strep I was really worried about Alex but the pediatrician said that babies under one year usually don't get strep even if exposed to it
