moms need ideas for baby shower games
we are throwing a baby shower for my sil and need ideas for games. so far we have baby bingo. TIA

At my shower we filled a big plastic baby bottle with M&Ms and had people guess how many were in the bottle. The person who won got a prize.

I sent you 3 or 4 fm's with different games
One of the most popular is to have clothes pins decorated in blue and pink ribbon and each guest gets one and your not to say the word baby if you do and get caught you have to give that person you clothespin at the end of the shower the perosn with the most pins wins

A fun game they did at my shower was to have all the guests bring a baby picture of themselves and you hang it up around the room with a number under each one. Then the guests go around and try to guess who's who. This works best for a small shower and a group of people that know each other.
Another variation of this is the get pictures of the mom to be growing up. Birth to say high school or college. You hang those around the room with numbers under them and the guests go around and try to put them in chronological order.
Both games were lots of fun and took up a nice amount of time and got people up and walking around and talking.

At my work shower they did a game where there were bottles of baby food with the labels removed and we tasted them and tried to guess what they were. It was really hard, but people were laughing at each other b/c of the faces we'd be making when we tasted some of them.

When we had my cousins shower, we did something similar, only it was with stuff in the fridge.. and we put them in Newborn diapers..The funniest part was she wanted to breastfeed, and the whole family knew it so they were all reminding her while sniffing the "dirty" diapers to remember what she eats will come out in the diaper..LOL
We had 12 newborn diapers, all numbered.. one had a pickle, one had garlic, one had horseradish, grey pupon, vanilla, cinnamon, etc... The person who got the most right got a prize.. the whole family and all the friends kinda ended up helping each other, so one winner who really did it all by herself got the prize, and the rest were handed their favors.
It was a good way to assure they all received the favors!

thanks iffer042373 for all the great games. i am going to tell my mom about them and play some at my shower and some at my sister in laws.
ladies she sent over all these cool games to play that are fun!!!!!

At my shower they played the "dirty diaper" game...the idea actually came from someone on this site (I can't remember who now)...my mom and sisters wrapped up diapers and in some of them were hershey kisses...they were given out to all of the guests and whoever got a "dirty diaper" won a prize.

isnt that expensive to get all those diapers? we invited 86 women. what do you do with the diapers after do you give them to the mom?
