No way. In your house or in the walls of your house? I think you can call the Fire Department or something.

That's not even funny!! How did you sleep! I think you need to call the wildlife foundation or someone who does pest removal. Those things can have rabies!

You need to find a licensed trapper. An exterminator might know of one.

Aww I'm sorry. But he is probably really scared right now too. If his tail is all puffed up thats a sign he is nervous/scared. If he is making that squalking/grunting noise that means he is REALLY scared.

Don't worry he wont hurt you. Call ASPCA or the fire dept and they will help.

We raised 2 squirrels from the time they were babies and their eyes were closed. They have a bad rap as 'rodents' but they were so sweet - they never hurt us once. Never bit or anything.

call either fire or police and they will try to catch it if they cannt they normally recommend an exterminator at that point. If not get one of those large traps and put some food in it guaranteed to get the $ucker. then call the police/fire to get rid of it.

We had to take down our tree in our front yard a raccon came in through a window we have in the attic. My office I called 311, they told me to call the police it was a nightmare I had them come and then they didnt want to come in my house that I reported them and had to have another set of cops come and take around which took time. When the second set of cops came they called animal control and they were trying to get the thing out, they got an emergency call. HELOO !!! I have a damn wild animal in my attic get rid of it. They had to leave that thing in my attic. I was so pi$$ed. Now I have a pigeon Im sure living up there AND I dont know how it got in .

This happened to me twice. They are scary creatures!! Both times we called animal control and they came right over and trapped them. Once it was stuck in our wood burning stove and kept staring at us through the glass.

LAST NIGHT BEFORE i GOT HOME dH HAD SEEN A SQUIRREL IN THE HOUSE SO HE CALLED HIS SIS TO COME OVER AND BRING HER DOGS TO FIND IT......THE DOG DIDNT FIND IT SO WE ASSUMED HE GOT OUT OF MY HOUSE SO WE WENT TO BED AND THOUGHT THATS IT
WELL TODAY ME AND MY 4YR OLD WERE HOME TIL NOON AND THEN WE LEFT TO GO TO SCHOOL AND I CAME HOME AN HOUR LATER AND MY HOUSE WAS RANSACKED AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE IT WAS
SO SIL CAME OVER AGAIN AND WE STILL HAVENT FOUND IT YET

HOW AM I GONNA SLEEP TONIGHT?????????

Get a Have a Heart trap and put it somewhere sort of hidden and put some peanut butter in it. You should catch him...then call animal control or the police and have them take him away...or your DH could do it.

sorry for laughing, I just find squirrels funny. I'm probably one of the only ones that actually like them. I can't offer much help, but good luck! My friend's classroom had them and they would trash the room when she left and cr@p all over her desk. One year I had them in the ceiling of my classroom. It took the custodians about a year to finally get them b/c the stupid custodians never closed up the hole where they got in even though they knew about them and would let the squirrels go in the park down the block

so I got a Havahart trap and put peanutbutter in it and he ate the peanutbutter but the trap door didnt shut so he is still here

OMG, he's still in your house? My girlfriend had one in her house and animal control was able to trap it safely and remove it for her

Did you adjust the tension on the trap? I can't beleive he ate the peanut butter and didn't get caught. I know you are distressed but I think it's kind of funny!
