Does your boss make you pay for your days off?
When you take a day, especially a sick day ... does your boss make you pay dearly the next day?
I cannot do anything right today. To add to it, she's working from home today and thinks being a biotch over email is OK. She's got email muscles. In the 5 years I've been here, she's never done it to my face ... only when she's out of the office. I've had to confront her and it makes her all flustered. Yet she still chooses email to try to tick me off.
GRRRR, is it 5 p.m. yet???

me too. I don't understand why either, well actually I do. One boss is afraid I can replace her easily, the other is an ego maniac that needs to be stroked by everyone. Both have job titles that are ridicuous.

He doesn't make me pay. He makes everyone else pay for it by being an ogre to everyone in the office when I'm out.

nope.
In fact I was once out sick on Fri. and I had told him earlier that I would send him a final draft that day he told me not to work on it from home (which I offered) because i need rest to recoup. I love my job.

Well he does make me feel guilty and is very inquitsitive (sp?) on what it is I am doing on my day off. Makes me feel wanted and needed but PO'ed at the same time.
