Major home purchases today
I am so happy! We finally decided to do something with our apartment. DH and I realized that we'll probably be here for the next year or two. So to make life more liveable, we finally bought a new cordless phone (our stunk!), an area rug and buffet with hutch! We spent all night putting it together. It has taken me 3 years to find an area rug and I found it at Ikea of all the places!
Here is a picture of the hutch we bought (now I just have to figure out how to display things in it)

Thanks everyone! It is from Ikea and is a pretty good price. I can't fit my plates in there, but my nice stemware and wedding toasting flutes are already in there. I cannot believe how much additional storage it has given us. It totally makes life more liveable right now! I'll take pictures of my carpet later, once it has fallen out.

I have that same hutch and I love it! I put my plates and platters on the bottom and all the glassware on top. I love it!

How big are your glasses? Our stemware won't fit on any of the other shelves.
