for thoses who took clomid

I found it odd that the dr. gave me prescription for it today. I've been trying since Aug. Can some just answer theses questions I have.


How long did it take u to get pregnant on it?
How long have u been on it??
How long was your cycle before it?
How long is your cycle now??
Do u ovulate the same days every month?
Do u experience and side effects? Thanks

How long did it take u to get pregnant on it? I got pregnant on my first cycle with clomid but I'm not sure whether it was due to the clomid or not. I ovulated on day 59...

How long have u been on it?? only took it once

How long was your cycle before it? I had very irregular cycles ranging anywhere from 50-65 days. It was assumed that I wasn't ovulating with those long cycles, but I may have been just very late in the cycle

How long is your cycle now??
Do u ovulate the same days every month?

Clomid helps you ovulate, it doesn't change your cycle

actually we anticipated the clomid would help regulate my cycle (by bringing on ovulation earlier), but that didn't happen, which is why I don't know if I can attribute the pregnancy to it or not.

I always had normal cycles prior to taking BCPs. When I stopped, I had one "normal" cycle, and then 2 very long ones (2 months each) before trying clomid.
