The dog we used to watch once came back to the backdoor with a bagel in her mouth - no idea how that got in our back yard.

Last summer Max came to the back door with a baby bird in his mouth-I completely freaked out!! Thankfully DH was home and took care of it.

YES!!!! Last summer a Monitor- you know the lizard thingy. I couldnt believe it! I had to get the dog to drop it and then I quickly put it on the table and watered it down- I thought it was a baby alligator and called DH to come home right away. I live near a park so I didnt know if someone maybe dumped it there. anyhows the thing was still alive and I let it go in our yard and put the dogs in the house, it was sooooooo wild, it was 3 feet long.

 that thing I swear I thought someone threw a baby alligator into the park and it crawled over to my backyard. Nothing surprises me anymore!!! especially with the hawks over here too.

My "big man" is good for retrieving squirrels. He also nailed me a crow once, fortunately he soft mouthed it and it was able to fly away.
My "little girl" has brought me back moles & birds.
