Removing candles from holders...

I have Christmas candle holders that have candles inside which have been half melted. I want to take the candles out before putting them away, but they are stuck in there.
Anyone know how you would get these out???
Thanks!

stick them in the freezer for a little while; - the candles will pop out.

in the future...if you put a little water in the holder before you put the candle in, it helps the candle pop out when it's done Chat Icon

I totally agree with you BUT I did this once and it didn't pop out so easily, I ended up cracking the candle holder and almost cutting my hands. Just be careful Chat Icon I like the idea of water, that was probably my mistake Chat Icon

I've always heard of freezing them if you were having trouble removing them.

I'm wondering if floating them in a pot of heated water would melt the wax a little and also help remove them?

I put mine in the microwave for a few seconds, If it does not have any metal on it of course...

Do not place it under running hot water in your sink, I clogged up the drain once...
