Gyms in Whitestone/Bayside area

NYSC is so expensive and doesn't have a pool. But what are some affordable gyms in the area and do any have pools?

NYSC in Whitestone did have a corporate rate for city teachers. I did find it was still a bit much (about $60 a month) but it was always super clean, there were always towels, etc. I also liked that there was no contract.

I don't know if it's still there but there is a Lucille Roberts on Bell in Bayside. And there is a shopping center on 20th in College Point (Where the Rag Shop is) with a gym. I don't know of any in the area that had pools.

There is also a Bally's in Little Neck. They may have a corporate type thing for city workers too.

There is Dolphin Fitness in College point, along with GFC ( General fitness center) in whitestone shopping center.

Neither have pools but Dolphin has really great and fun classes all the time! - they are included with the memebership price
